The dense forest of Chilapata is situated on the bank of the river Torsa. It is one of the underrated forests of Dooars where it is said that the sunlight does not touch the grounds of Chilapata forest for its density. Not only the wildlife of Chilapata which is appealing to the tourists but also a broken, damaged fort called Nalgarh is there in the middle of the forest which creates a spooky vibe around it.
